I certify that adequate and timely notification

was made of the intention of the parties concerned to apply to the Legislative Council of Hong Kong for an Ordinance

styled "An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the

Sailors Home and Missions to Seamen" before the same was brought into the Legislative Council. Such notification was

made in the manner following:-

Notification of the intention of the parties to

apply for the said Ordinance was advertised in two issues of

the Government Gazette on the 17th and 25th of April, 1930;

and in two issues of an English newspaper circulating in the

Colony, namely,

The South China Morning Post on the 16th and 17th of

April, 1930.

A draft of the proposed said Ordinance was further published

in two issues of the Government Gazette on the 17th and 25th

of April, 1930.

A proof of the notification was made before the

Officer Administering the Government in Executive Council.
